Just a quick reminder that places are still available for the Christmas Lunch at Kirkley Hall on 16th December. As usual , weather permitting there will be a ride before the lunch & then everyone meets around 12.00 ready for a lovely & jolly lunch. Book via the website.

Hi all As it is the National Hill Climb on Sunday at Hedley on the Hill quite a few WAGs & VAGs are heading over there to cheer loudly & support local riders. Ruth has offered to lead a WAGs ride from Ponteland at the usual time of 10.00am & heading for Moorhouse Farm, Stannington ( around 30 miles)...

It has been submitted & written by Chris Wilcock to highlight the project which will be part of Northumbria University’s ‘ Being Human ‘ Festival at the end of November. Thanks Andy for an informative post about Audax rides. I have only done one in the Borders ( Ride of the Valkyries)which was such a lovely route we recently followed the same route for a TOGs away day. I might try a few more in 2018. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Ker :|

Thanks Quentin for that reassuring video of Indian roads & mad traffic! We were there in 1989 & it was an experience. I am beginning to wonder why we are heading back - but we are going on an organised & supported trip this time so fingers crossed we will survive & return to tell the tale. Ker.
