WAGs ride - 20 August 2017

Post by Lesley Bennett » Tue Aug 15, 2017 1:00 pm

On Sunday, 20 August 2017 I am leading the WAGs ride and we are off to sunny Simonburn to visit the tea rooms. The route I have in mind is 51 miles and has approx 2,700 ft of climbing. We will be starting at 9.30 a.m. from the usual car park. There is nothing scary on the route, I promise - unless you are all very naughty in which case we are coming back via the Ryals - you have been warned!

Caroline has, again, offered to lead a local ride that day and it will be the usual pace and distance. I'm sure she will be letting us know which cafe you will be going to in due course.

I have made a provisional booking at the Simonburn Tea Room and it would be helpful if you could let me know if you plan to come along if you haven't already.
